Street Slamin Dance Centre’s ‘Around the World’ takes you on a thrilling journey celebrating dance and culture from every corner of the globe. This year, we’re traveling through Brazil, France, America, Australia, Antarctica, and Africa, bringing each place to life with vibrant choreography across a range of styles, including contemporary, jazz, cheerleading, ballet, broadway, acro, and hip hop. Experience the rhythms and colours of Brazil, visit the Moulin Rouge in France, the spirit of America, the heart of Australia, the icy allure of Antarctica, and the soul and animals of Africa in a concert that spans continents and captures the essence of dance around the world.

‘Around the World’ is more than a showcase—it’s a celebration of diversity and inclusivity. Our stage welcomes performers of all ages, from our youngest dancers taking their first steps to our seasoned dancers sharing the wisdom and passion of a lifetime in the art. Be moved by the storytelling of our contemporary and mini dancers, captivated by the grace of ballet, and energized by the power of hip hop, jazz, broadway and cheer routines.

Boppin Babies is an exciting, high-energy class designed for parents and toddlers to bond, learn, and grow together. Your little one will explore gross motor skills, rhythm, and teamwork, all while having a blast dancing to fun, engaging music! 🎶

Led by our passionate and fully trained teachers, this program offers the perfect introduction to group activities and classroom participation. And yes, one parent gets to join in on all the fun too! 🤗

Over 25 of our incredible Squad and Venom Allstar families have committed to this once in a lifetime adventure, where we’ll be competing at “The Finals” one of the most prestigious dance and cheer competitions in Orlando, Florida. This incredible journey follows the bids we proudly earned earlier this year! 🏆✨

But that’s not all! Our dancers will also be living out their dreams in Los Angeles, performing at Disneyland and Universal Studios, participating in exclusive workshops at the world-renowned Playground and Millennium, and making unforgettable memories with sightseeing, sports games, and so much more! 🌍🎭

We’re so grateful for this amazing opportunity and cannot wait to share every step of this journey with our SSDC family and supporters. Your encouragement and support mean the world to us! Let’s make 2025 our best year yet! 🙌💚

This event marks our biggest competition of the year, and the level of talent and performance from all teams was truly inspiring for our SSDC athletes. Hit Zero - That team got no deductions for their routine. Big achievement in cheer. 

Grand Champions means the 3 highest scores overall for all ages. We took out all 3 places for jazz and gold for HipHop.

We also were awarded alongside our awards 8x Orlando Florida bids which means we have qualified to go to the competition in America with many other teams around the world to trial for dance worlds. 

We also won the most memorable dance program which was our greatest achievement. This is awarded to one club at the end of the weekend for being the most encouraging, kind, enthusiastic, polite, best spirits etc! How good are our kids!!

I am thrilled to announce that our beautiful Miss Tess has been accepted into the prestigious Millennium Dance Complex program for 2025 and will be relocating to Los Angeles in February for two months.

We are immensely proud of Tess’s dedication and unparalleled talent. We eagerly anticipate the incredible achievements and growth she will experience in this new chapter. We will all be eagerly awaiting her return and look forward to celebrating her successes. 🇺🇸🫶🏻
